Flex Dollars
The amount of Flex Dollars varies depending on the meal plan selected. Each meal plan includes a specified amount of Flex Dollars which may be spent at the retail dining venues in Bone Student Center (McAlister’s Deli, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Freshens, and The Cage II Coffee Shop); at the Subway shops located on campus (Wilkins Hall, Watterson Towers, Hamilton-Whitten Halls); coffee and sandwich shops in Centennial Hall (Airport Lounge), College of Business Building (Business Bistro), and vending machines in the residence halls.
Flex Dollars remaining at the end of the fall semester will roll over into the spring semester providing the meal plan holder purchases a meal plan for spring semester. All Flex Dollars expire at the end of the spring semester, Flex Dollars are non-refundable.
Carryout Option: While carry out is available, disposable containers do not support campus sustainability efforts. Therefore, you are highly encouraged to dine in rather than carry out whenever possible.
Most meal plan options will allow you to carry out at each meal without limitation. However, the Unlimited Access Meal Plan for students allows a maximum of 3 carry out meals per day. A carry out meal is defined as one entrée, two side dishes, one dessert and one beverage.
Let Campus Dining do the cooking! As a faculty or staff member, you may also purchase a meal plan. Meal plans allow you the option to eat meals in conveniently located residence hall dining centers where there is never a lack of fresh and healthy food as well as wide variety from which to choose.
